An Economy of Enough – Report Launch
We would like to invite you to the launch of the “Economy of Enough” report, arising from the Earth Day 2026 conference at Queen’s University Belfast.
Thursday 24th September, 7.30 pm
in the Windsor Hub, 22 Lower Windsor Ave, Belfast BT9 7DW
The report brings together ideas and reflections from across faith communities, academia and civil society on how we can build an economy that puts people, justice, community and care for our common home at its heart.
It will be launched by Kristian Noll, climate policy and knowledge-exchange specialist working at the intersection of climate action, faith, politics and youth engagement. He is currently Knowledge Exchange and Impact Manager for the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) programme at the London School of Economics (LSE).programme.

Day of Song and Prayer in Loughshore Parishes
Dear friends in Music Ministry,
Loughshore Parishes Music Ministry is delighted to invite singers and musicians from across the Diocese of Down and Connor to a Day of Song and Prayer with Ian Callanan. This music workshop promises to be an uplifting opportunity to discover and learn new liturgical music, pray through music, and enjoy time with others involved in parish music ministry.

What’s planned for the day
- 10:00am: Registration and refreshments.
- 10:30am – 4:30pm: Music workshop with Ian Callanan, with time to learn new pieces, explore how they can be used in parish liturgies and sing together. There will be a break for lunch.
- 5:00pm: Mass in the neighbouring St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church.
Refreshments and getting there
Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.
If you are travelling by car, there is good parking at St James’. The venue is also easy to reach by public transport: it is a short walk from Whiteabbey train station or there is a local bus services running along the Shore Road.
Who can attend?
This event is open to those already involved in music ministry in their parish but also those who love to sing and play liturgical music. We would also welcome young people, post primary school age (with permission from responsible parent/guardian).
How much does it cost?
The event costs £20 for adults and is free for young people.
